•    Faculty Room: An Invitation to Invitational Rhetoric Participate in an enlightened roundtable discussion on Foss and Foss’ Invitational Rhetorical Perspective and how it welcomes feminism, equality, and discussion into the classroom.

 •    Founders Room: Saving MASC: Moving Forward Into the Future The state of MASC and other Michigan communication associations are deteriorating. This panel will present current problems and concerns as well as ask Membership to develop and consider pragmatic solutions.

                   Are you considering facilitating a summer speech or theater institute? Join members of EMU’s SummerQuest program as they impart best practices.

 •          Founders Room: Undergraduate and Graduate Research Explore current Undergraduate Research and gain insight into the practice and academic pursuit of Rhetorical Criticism and Graduate academic Research.

 •          Reception Room: Community College Round Table Garner perspective and contribute to a discussion regarding unique

                   educational and administrative circumstances pertinent to educators within local Community Colleges.

•          Faculty Room: Great Ideas For Teaching Speech (GIFTS) A panel of presenters will share effective teaching techniques, exciting assignment ideas and innovate methods that motivate speech students.  •          Founders Room: Classroom Issues

                   Plagiarism, civility, and ethical concerns have become a problematic issue for many educators, This panel will discuss current classroom disturbances and effective means to positively diffuse common classroom issues.
